I am a systems engineer, specialist in big data and business intelligence, and an anthropologist in training. I am a person interested in knowledge and I enjoy learning. I have fourteen years of experience where I have always worked in the technology areas in the telecommunications, financial and proptech sectors. Within the world of data and python I have around four years of experience in positions of data analyst, data architect and data engineer. I currently work in the role of data engineering with some DataOps functions for the StartUp La Haus, here I am in charge of maintaining a modern and stable data stack, I am also in charge of all data integrations of all types of data sources (scraping, flat files, API consumption, database, etc.). Technologies such as python, dbt, airbyte, airflow, github, snowflake and sql are part of my daily life. From all these years I have always found that my co-workers are almost always men, that women have very little participation in STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and that is why my motivation to apply for this version of pycon, no longer as an assistant but as a speaker. To show more women that we have the knowledge, experience and potential to work in any area of knowledge we want, to lose fear and manage to break gender stereotypes, to be a model or reference for future girl engineers.
